remote work

Specializes in CHPN.

Hi everyone. I'm an American expat living abroad and I am looking to get into remote work. My background is I started nursing in 2015, got my chemo card, transitioned to home hospice and got my CHPN. I am enrolled in an MSN program but due to financial issues will not be finishing soon.

I'm looking for recommendations for specific companies, types of work for people newly entering remote work, tips for getting these positions, tech requirements, etc.

Thank you!

Specializes in NICU.

Good luck, been trying ,everything is full time, requiring licensure on several other states.

Specializes in Critical Care; Cardiac; Professional Development.

Generally the work-from-home positions I have found require you to be residing in the state you are licensed in, or to have a license in a state in which you plan to teach. None allowed living overseas. If you hear of something I'd love to know. I'd love to move abroad.

Specializes in EMS, ED, Trauma, CEN, CPEN, TCRN.

There were a couple of companies I heard about that allowed overseas work but have since stopped due to too many issues. For these healthcare organizations, there are a lot of regulations about where a nurse is sitting when she works. But there are international companies you might look into, like IQVIA.
