Registered Nurse Program, which school to attend?

U.S.A. California

Hello all!

I am recently applying for the RN program in Fresno City College, but I know that their students are selected based on a lottery system. I don't want to wait too long to get in a nursing program, so I started doing some research. There's an RN program available at Merced College and I've read a couple of bad reviews, but their NCLEX passing rates are good. College of the Sequoias also has an RN program, which has good NCLEX passing rates; Fresno City college has a lower rate on their NCLEX rate, but it's the closest to me. I am willing to make the drive to attend school, but I want to know if anyone has attend either of these schools for the RN program and their thought about the program would be very much appreciated!! :)

So have u started the program? How was it? Can you please let me know about what u guys do,

Like how often do they give u test, quizzes, clinical wise and then the requirements to pass the class?? Thanks!!!

I think with the competitiveness of nursing school now you should just try to get into any of them and whatever one accepts you go there. Unfortunately I have no insight in any of these particular programs, but most nursing school programs are rough. There will be questions where all the answers are right but you have to pick the "most right" answer.
