Has anyone taken the PCCN test since the new exam launched on June 26, 2013? If so, are there any study materials that you recommend that are successful?
I have the new PCCN test plan, but I can't seem to find older test plans to compare. Do you think it's OK to use older study materials since the test has been updated?
I started doing a little research on my own for study materials. Many of them have mixed reviews, so I'm a little overwhelmed and don't know which to buy! Thank you for helping me!

I've been using the online review course on the AACN website. I also have the review book by Thomas Ahrens. Both have been excellent purchases, in my opinion. I plan on taking the test this summer.

I took the test a couple of months ago, using an older review book (I think it must have been the Ahrens). I think the best thing to do is probably just go with ANY review material that's convenient for you to use, if that's what it'll take to get you studying and taking the test sooner. Most of the questions were universals; it was only really the ethical/synergy questions where I felt like it would have helped to have more specific practice materials. Good luck!
