I am currently in the process of petitioning to a technical college for the nursing program. There is nothing in their requirements or information about letters of recommendation. I work at a hospital as a nursing assistant, should I ask the nurses I work with and current professors for recommendation? I'm not sure if the school I'm applying to even accepts them or not.
Thanks!

Generally schools have requirements for admission. As long as you meet the requirements (which are given points) and no one else has higher overall points on things than you, you will be ok. I don't think letters of recommendation would have any impact, unless they're in the list of requirements.

Look at the school's admission requirements. If a letter of recommendation is not even mentioned then call the school to find out. Some schools I applied to accepted them, other did not. Most schools out here in California didn't care for the letters but preferred volunteer or work hours in a hospital setting.
