Ready to give up

I took my nth Nclex last Dec 10. It shut off at 100-not that it matters. I called the CA-BRN this morning and they told me they mailed out the results last mon. I've been checking the BRN website everyday and still no luck. I don't have SSN but recently (last Thur) gave them my ITIN. I am still keeping my fingers crossed that I passed and they just can't process my license yet. I am losing hope for every day that had passed. this is my nth Nclex(i think my fourth) time and if missed this time again, I'm afraid I am ready to give up. It seems like no matter how much i try, I would always end up feeling such a big failure. I feel worse for those relying on me. I have a family to feed and have been having difficult time making both ends meet. I do hope things would change for me. :scrying:

Thank you SkateBetty. I am finding out probably tomorrow or Friday. If there's only a way I can do something about it. I've been doing my very best everytime i would take the test but it seems like I am not good enough to say the least. But hey, it's not over til the fat lady sings. I'm really hoping and praying I made it this time.

The ITIN# normally is not accepted for the license. It slips thru once in awhile, but the reason that the SSN# is required, is that they want proof that you can legally work in the US, and without it, you can't.

I would not give up, you just need to make changes in your study habits and it can be done.

You can send me a pm if you want and tell me exactly what you have been using and how you have been using it. And I can help you, if you are willing to give it another go, the choice is yours. But first, wait until you get the letter from the BRN in the mail.

Then we will go on from there.....................:wink2:
