READMISSION INTO NURSING PROGRAM?

Hi All,

I'm currently in the LVN-RN program (advanced placement into 3rd and 4th semester), and starting the bridge course next week.  However, I may need to take off on the 3rd and 4th semester because I am pregnant, and considered a high risk pregnancy. I may be able to do the 3rd semester but, I am due during finals, and might be a bit risky.  I plan to request a withdrawal due to pregnancy and reapply next year in September 2022 during the school's application period to be re-admitted to the program the following year 2023 when class starts.

I wanted to know if anyone knows about readmission procedures.

My school is Rio Hondo/LVN-ADN program

Thank you!

What have the program administrators told you?  In many programs, probably most, a person takes a medical leave of absence, and then picks up where they left off, provided there is space available.  Your advisor can direct you in the procedures you must follow.  Good luck with your pregnancy and delivery.

Thank you, I tried contacting them today, but forgot it's Spring Break.  Was just a little anxious to get some info ?
