Hello!

I would like too know if anyone could tell me anything about the Military bases located in Georgia, as far as the hospitals and nursing facilities. I am

a medical assistant wanting to go on to nursing school for Lpn. My husband is re-enlisting into the military and he is thinking about Georgia. Thanks in advance.

I'm sorry I'm only familiar slightly with Ft. Gordon which is in in Augusta.

I hope this is a coomplete list of hospitals, but I imagine there are missing ones.

Dwight D Eisenhower Hosp at Ft. Gordon in Augusta Georgia. they are hiring nurse's now. I don't know if it's contract or not. They did advertise some RN positions though.

Midwest My husband is enlisted with the Army at Ft. Benning, GA (Columbus). I've heard good things about Martin Army Hospital. I'm a student now, but I am looking into working at St. Francis Hospital (off post).

My step-mother and co-worker's husband both work at Martin Army Hospital (Ft. Benning, GA). They don't like it, but they're stuck. If you're used to something like Walter Reed or Landstuhl...Martin Army is far from it.
