Rating your Professor

Hi everyone, I am new to this website, and I just love it!!! I want to thank everyone for all the wonderful info. I have learned so much in the short time I have been a part of this awesome site!

Anyway, I have discovered the rate your professor website (because someone posted it here), and I think it is fantastic. Not only am I new to this website, but I am also new to my area. I am not familiar with the schools, or instructors at all. The rating website is completely awesome, I checked my past professors to see if I agree with the ratings and I do for the most part. I realize that everyone interacts differently, but as far as a guide to help you survive the pre-req's to the nursing program, well I give this one a THUMBS UP!!!!

I hope you find this as valuable as I do when it comes to registering for each new term.

Have a GREAT DAY! I can't wait to become a NURSE!

I love that site. It's been a life saver when I've been trying to decide about some of my courses. It's always nice to have a heads up when you're encountering an unknown instructor.

Yes, I've been rating on this site for a few years now. Of course, I take some of those posts with a horselick of salt, but I do use it quite a bit when planning out my classes. The one semester I didn't check out the professors before registering I regretted! :D

I do not sign up for my classes unless I've read about the instructor on that site. I have had a couple problems with it but overall, I am a big fan. Before I heard about the web site I took a math class and loved the instructor. The following semester I learned about the web site and looked her name up and everyone gave her horrible reviews..so I dont know how that happened. Then everyone was giving my humanities teacher rave reviews so I took him and I hated his teaching style. I wanted to cringe everytime I had to sit through one of his boring lectures where he tried to make funny and I wasn't laughing. So yeah, I don't always agree with it but it has definitely helped me out with a majority of my classes.

the site has been a key in my learning. I love it now, especially that its free so I can read all the post on my potential teachers. Alot of teachers frequent the site from school or so I have heard.

I LOVE that website. A friend told me about it, the nice thing was I knew what to focus in lecture on for the exams because one poster specified this and as a whole, they were right. I ended up with a B in lab and lecture because she was still challenging, but I will remember sooo much from that class.
