...........of the Blocks in Nursing School, from Block 1 to 4. What I am looking for here is how you perceived each block to be, Like this:

Block 1: 2nd hardest

Block 2: 3rd hardest

Block 3: number one hardest

Block 4: 4th hardest

Many would say it just keeps getting tougher from Block 1, but I wanted your opinions. Tell me your ratings and then tell me why, if possible. I would do a poll if I was that smart, lol:p

Specifically, I am looking for information on the MCCD Nursing Programs, am very interested in GCC Nursing Program. Thank you!!!:)

Hi Janice,

Sorry to hear about problems with your Dad. I have had major health problems going on with my Mom ever since block 2. I've done lots of major studying sitting in the ICU, doctors appts, and nursing homes.

I think I told you that I went to Maricopa Skill Center for block 1 and 2 so it is not directly compable to Glendale, but sort of. Here is my difficulty level rating:

Block 1........ third hardest, getting used to critical thinking tests

Block 2......... second hardest, pharmacology is the reason

Block 3......... hardest, med surg hard, pysch harder than I thought

Block 4......... easiest not as many care plans, more time in clinicals than class

Try to hang in there Janice - this is doable even with life threatening health problems with your Dad. I am rooting for you! :kiss

I'm in Block 2 so can't talk about block 3 or 4 yet.

I thought block 1 was very easy. Heard ns was going to be hard as hell, but to me, block one was totally doable. Block 2 is a bit harder. More reading and doing patho at the same time, but still not too bad.

Where med/surg is, that's the hardest.

Thank you for replying. Good to know that this coming semester won't likely kill me. Block 3 will.....:lol2: Thanks!!!

Glad to hear you are going to stick with it. :kiss At least after your Block 2 you can get an LPN if you want. Let that fact motivate you through it! The saving grace of block 3 is an extremely nice and kind psych instructor to even out the evil med/surg instructor. :zzzzz
