RAD-TECH program while waiting in the lottery?

Hi! I need some advice. I am a prenursing student and is currently waiting in the lottery for the nursing program. I had applied to the RAD-TECH program and was accepted. Should I start my journey in the RAD-TECH program or should I wait until I get in the RN program since my goal and passion is for nursing? My problem is what if I start the RAD-TECH program and invested so much money and time into it, and then I get selected in the lottery for the RN program. Does that me I am just gonna waste my time and money? Should I just wait for the lottery still then and not bother with the RAD-TECH program?
