Quincy College, evening program

Hi all! I am attempting to find a nursing program that best suits my work life for I have no choice but to work while in school. I have found a program at Quincy College that is 2 1/2 years 3pm-10pm three nights a week. Has anyone taken this program or is applying to it? I'm just looking for thoughts on an evening program that is still only 2 1/2 years to complete.

Thank you!

Not sure when you will be ready to apply but there are several programs you can do nights. Quincy College, Bunker Hill Community College, Massasoit Community College, Bristol Community College. All of these are ASN programs. I grew up in Quincy but didn't apply to their program. They were going through some issues and their program wasn't up to par like it used to be. Now, I have heard that they recently got rid of a bunch of instructors and started over this year so you might be in luck if you do decide to attend.

Good luck with whatever you choose. =)

That Quincy program may be hard to replicate as it's basically between 3/4 and full time just later in the day. You'd think they'd offer more of those, but not many places do.

Don't forget about Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital School of Nursing (my alma mater). They have a night/weekend program BUT it does take a little longer than your time frame. General consensus is that their program is VERY strong in terms of the quality of graduates.

Where do you want to eventually work?

Consider this before even thinking about school.
