Hi I to took NCLEX today and it shut off at 75 and I don't feel real confident about the outcome. Babe from above post. Try to eat good and get good sleep. Part of my problem was my plane real delayed yesterday, not good dinner and sleep in loud hotel plus of course that time of month happens first thing. I also made mistake of reviewing last night and that didn't help one bit. I wish you all the luck in the world. You will do great!!
Next time I will fl up 2 days early and not to anything the day before.
Thanks for listening

Hi,
I took the NCLEX on Feb 6th.
I too thought it was the hardest test ever. I had questions and a syndrome I never even heard of. I did about 3-4000 questions for a month before the exam and not one were similar to that test. I also went through the Saunders book faithfully, questions from Kaplan book, and many, many, many, more books. I feel that no amount of studying would have helped. Some questions were worded in such a way that you had to have a secret code to decipher them. I am so sad and upset, I know I failed, I can feel it. I'll know my results tomarrow, and will let you know the results.
Sorry for the downer, and thanks for letting me blow off my steam.

HI!
My test shut off at 75 as well. I had way too m any priority questions for my liking. I find them extremely challenging. A lot of SATA questions too. I would say at least 5 or 6. UGH. I hope we all pass. I am eagerly waiting for the results!!!

Hey guys!! I know how you feel I just took my test on Monday Feb. 4th. I walked out of there counting all the ones I knew I got wrong. I was soo sad my test stopped at 75 because I felt I needed more!!! I had 3 math questions which I know I got one wrong because I totally forgot how to change micrograms to milligrams and then I got 3 Select-All-that-Apply questions.. The others were priority and teaching and I was soo unsure about wether I chose the right answer!
I was sooooo stressed for the passed 3 days because I didnt see my name on the California BRN...but.. this morning I found out I passed!
So keep your head up and try to keep yourself occupied! I'm sooo glad we have this forum to vent! cuz it does help huh??! k my blessings to you!!! Keep us posted!!
xoxo

Good luck to all of you! I too was in the same boat less than 48 hours ago. Certain I had failed at 75 questions. And truly no confidence in ANY of my answers. However, to my complete and utter surprise, I did pass. And I am rooting for all of you to, too!!! Please post your good news! I have a feeling I will be congratulating all of you very soon!! :nuke:
Congrats, Des11283!!!! We did it!
Thanks to all that are posting with encouraging thoughts and stories. I feel just like you all that think you failed. i too had three math questions and the one with the mircrograms. Lots of infection control which I feel I totally bombed. It is hard to be positive when I got shut down at 75 and feel like I didn't prove my content knowledge or critical thinking skills. Yikes is all I can say. So I am gonna keep on reading this site cuz it's really helpin with the post test blues. Good luck everyone
I feel like smoking but I won't!!!!

I took mine this morning and the test shut off at 75 as well. I didn't know a single med I was given and most of the medical conditions I had never heard of before either. I did the complete Saunders Review including CDROM questions, Kaplan Book + CD, ATI NCLEX Success, + NCLEX made Incredibly Easy! I had over 10,000 questions under my belt and I could still not say that any one of my answers on the test were 100% confident.
I feel like, looking back, I should've studied more material and knowledge rather than focusing so much on practice questions. Because although the questions help if you don't have the base knowledge about side effects of meds or symptoms of obscure diseases than you cannot answer the question for sure.
I have been trying to keep busy until tommorrow when I can start checking (quick check in MA). Watching TV, ironing and eating....I can't read a book or concentrate on anything for more than 10 minutes!!
I also read that if you pass with 75 you can get up to 50% of the questions wrong (see the pearson website brouchure.) It seems like if you fail with 75 you have to really bomb it (which may be the case for me!! but I hope not)
