DId anyone start in home health as a new grad? How was the training? Did you think it was sufficient? I really would prefer experience first, but well, an opportunity has presented itself to me and I REALLY want to just have a job and stp worrying so much about not being able to find one!
Anyone work for PSA Home Health? How was the training? Do you like it?

Yikes! They, like Maxim absolutely clog the job listings in every state it seems. Be careful OP. Many hospitals won't even hire you for home health without a few years Medsurg, but prefer Onc or ICU.
Scenario: You get a post CABG/valve first week home. What do you look for? The patient has questions. Can you answer most of them?

I don't think home care is a good fit for a new grad. You are on your own, no one down the hall to confer with, no one else to do the venipuncture. You need to be able to discern what normal is both for ea pt and for a specific disease process.
