hello all,
when looking at your NCLEX analysis after a failed result, does every section have to be above passing standard or can a candidate pass with some areas at near passing? i ask because i had 2 sections above passing standard, one below, and the rest at near passing.

hi, sorry to hear about your reults. i am not 100% sure, but i think our instructors told us that we had to be above passing across the board to pass the exam..... if you still have your info book from pearson, i believe they describe passing standards in there too
someone please correct me if i am wrong.

With the failed NCLEX results, you have to be above passing on everything in order to pass NCLEX-RN/LPN. You can also visit the ncsbn.org site as they are the makers of NCLEX and it shows how one may fail and/or pass.
Good luck and sorry to hear that you failed..I am sure that you will do it next time!
