Question about NCLEX

I'm sorry if this question has already been discussed on this forum. I have searched through the threads and can't really find an answer...

I took my NCLEX today and finished with 75 questions....I am heartbroken! Looking back I know that I got atleast 6 questions wrong.

Anyway, how does it work? Lets say you miss the first 2, so will the computer continue you onto a low level? What happens if you get one right then the next wrong? How is the pass/fail determined in this situation?

Had 5-6 SATA and 2 more different alternate form questions, a couple of med calcs and tons of priority... I know I got my last question right, any advice?

One more thing... lets say you continuously get questions wrong, will the computer not give you any alternate format questions? Do these really indicate a high level?

Not sure why you are heartbroken at getting 75 questions. You can pass with anything between 75 and 265. Just getting 75 doesn't mean you have failed.

Hang in there and good luck

Thanks...I guess its the normal 48 hour scare after the test.

I tried the Pearson Trick and got the popup that everyone has mentioned so i'm just being hopeful at this point.

Stop worrying about it and relax. Assume you passed until informed otherwise. Make plans for employment with your new license. Good luck.
