Hi all!
So I'm no where near the point of taking my nclex yet but I've seen quite a few posts lately about students taking the nclex multiple times and how intense the entire experience is trying to prepare for it. So naturally I'm scared out of my mind.
But I'm curious, for students who have taken it multiple times, what kind of pass rates did your school have?

We've moved this thread to the NCLEX Discussion forum...
Keep in mind that 85 percent of US-educated students pass NCLEX on the first attempt. That's more than four out of five people who pass the first time around.
But due to negativity bias, the tiny minority of people who fail seem to attract the most attention and their stories remain seared into our memories.

Here's the statistics on pass rates for 2015.
Out of 157,882 people who took the test, 84.53 (roughly 133,458) passed on the first try. 24,424 people failed. Of those taking the test for a repeat time in 2015 (48,288- more because of those whose first attempt would have been prior to 1/1/2015 as well as those who may have taken it more than twice), 21,498 passed (44.52%).
thank you for the input, and i do realize that the majority of students do pass on the first try.
I was just curious to find out the pass rates for the schools these individuals attended, to see if there was any kind of correlation
If you google your state + NCLEX pass rates, you should be able to find the information. My state's BON provides the information quarterly on pass rates.
I realize that, I'm not asking for my school or state.. I'm asking students who have taken their nclex twice or more, what THEIR schools nclex rate was
