Question about ISU phase 2

I was wondering if any is in phase 2 of this program. I have to take micro and I can move on to phase 2. I called ISU to see if I could get out of enrolling with college network when testing out of the 4 nursing classes before I enroll into the nursing program in 08. She told me that I had to go through college network for phase 2 because they are the only company that has exclusive rights to the 4 nursing clep modules. If I chose not to go through college network, I would have to come to Indiana and take them on their campus because they don't offer online classes for the 4 nursing classes in phase 2. I talked to a college network rep and they quoted me $2900 to take micro, patho and the 4 nursing cleps of phase 2 with them. I will then have 1 year to clep out of the four classed and enter their nursing program. The program sounds good but I have a BS already in another field and don't want to take 3 years to complete this program. But on the upside, I don't want to do excelsier and be one of the 40% of students that do not pass the CPNE. Does anyone know anything different?

Hello,

Why don't you ask them....what if you buy the 4 CSM from someone thru EBay? I am sure you do not have to buy them from TCN. Then how will you take the tests?

I am close to Phase 2 as well. Where do you take the 4 tests for Phase 2?

Let me know how this pans out.

Thanks. Brenda
