What is going to be my best option. I graduate LPN school in late July. My husband is getting out of the military in May and we plan to move to Florida after I take the NCLEX here in Oklahoma since the test is already paid for in my schooling. I know many places want experience of LPN's with at least a year if not more. I was told to stay here and get experience here where I have done clinicals before moving because they are more likely to hire you since you had previous clinicals there. But if we move down there then how do I gain experience if no one will hire due to lack of experience???

Don't think the premise is correct.
Believe you'll be hired whether or not you have previous nursing experience.
Good luck!

Try emailing some likely facilities in the area of Florida where you plan to move and ask them. You can also ask this question on the Florida forum, as well as the LPN forum, of this BB for more specific responses.

Call and talk to the nursing recruiters (If your thinking hospital work), most all hire new grads. Why not take the NCLEX in the state your moving to it may be easier and faster to get work?
