Question about the FL NCLEX...

I am taking my test Tuesday at one of the Pearson Vue centers in Central Florida. For those of you who remember...:chuckle what are you supposed to bring with you to the test site? I know you need your license (drivers) and your ATT. But, can you bring anything else? Like...water? Gum? Rosary beads??? (Okay, I'm Jewish, no rosary beads...but you get the point!) :roll Obviously I am freaking out. Can you bring fruit with you in case your sugar starts to droop after 4 hours?

Any info would help me to keep what is left of my hair. :selfbonk:

Your drivers license & ATT are all you're supposed to bring. The center I tested at did have small lockers in the lobby for personal items, but I don't know if all do. Chances are you won't be there 4 hours...don't sweat the small stuff so bad :wink2: , you don't want to be frazzled by the time you get there! Good luck to you!

Thanks Dear!

I took it, I passed it! Whoo hoo! Just curious though...how long does it take for your license to come in the mail after the NCLEX?

Hi Cherrybaby-

Congradulations to you!!! Just out of curiousity, without being in depth, what was the concentration of your test on? (what types of questions did you have most)

Chris

Types of questions depend 100% on how the previous questions were answered. Each exam will be different, even for the same people in the room at the same time.

Thank you suzanne. I was just starting a conversation, and was simply asking about her individual experience. I know that every NCLEX test is different.

Thanks

I took both the NCLEX RN and LPN exams on the computer. Both times it took more time for the site to enter me into the computer than it took to complete the exam. Just a note to anyone else wondering about the length of time for the exam.

Cherybaby-Congrats. Enjoy this time in your nursing profession.
