  1. I took both the NCLEX RN and LPN exams on the computer. Both times it took more time for the site to enter me into the computer than it took to complete the exam. Just a note to anyone else wondering about the length of time for the exam. Cherybaby-Congrats. Enjoy this time in your nursing profession.
  2. As an LPN that idea may work for you. However, in today's litiginous society it isn't only the MD who gets creamed. More and more the RN is named specifically named. I don't know how it works in your state, but in some states the MD is responaible for the MA and the LPN. If there is no RN on duty the MD would be responsible for the LPN , the MA, the CNA, etc. However, I don't think anyone other than the MD could be sued. If there is an RN on duty she can be named in the suit personally. This is not true for the LPN or certificate personnel.
  3. Hi! PN teacher. I graduated from ERwin in 1994 and did indeed bridge over to RN in 1998. The training I rec'd at Erwin prepared me to have a wonderful career in nursing. I would always recommend Erwin to anyone seeking to enter nursing.
  4. I graduated from erwin in 1994. I received an excellent foundation for my nursing career. They were very strict, but fair. I had no problems bridging over to RN later. I worked for several years as an LPN and got my RN in 1999. Good luck to you in your nursing career.
