Many people have recommended Danskos to me. I have arthritis in my big toe, and need a shoe that stays stiff even after breaking in. My question is, do Danskos stay stiff like you see in the store or do they begin to bend in the forefoot like most shoes do? I would hate to spend $$ only to find I couldn't wear them after 2-3 months! Right now I wear Sketchers because they are rock solid in the sole. Still, I would like to try Danskos if you guys think they might work.
-Thanks

I've had one pair of Danskos for the last five years and they still feel like I'm wearing a brick on my foot...however, it's a comfortable brick lol
