Hello All,
I enrolled in Indiana State University online program just a couple of days ago. Can anyone who applied or graduated there tell me how there online LPN to BSN program is? I looked up there information on the nursing accrediation website and noticed that they received a warning for Spring 2014. I called the nursing accrediation and they informed me that they received a warning for 2 out of 6 things and a final review will be in July. I also called the representative of Indiana State and they explained that they did receive a warning but they are now fine for the next 8 years and it will be posted in July on the accrediation website. Do you think I should withdraw from the school or wait until July and see what is posted on the nursing accrediation website. Help me please someone!!!

I am a student there and the accreditation evaluators were on campus in April and had a meeting with the students about their concerns. They didn't indicate to the students that the accreditation wasn't going to be renewed. Most of the issues that caused the extension until April was administrative (ex. not enough doctoral degree instructors for the BSN programs). The issues have been resolved and it is in the hands of the accreditation board to finish their paperwork.
There has been no rumors or indications from the instructors that there was a problem with the visit in the last 2 months. I graduate in August, so they would have said something to us by now.

Don, I am so relieved to read that! I read the OP's post and my heart stopped.
