Does anyone have any official dates for when the application will open?

Hello all I recently got accepted into a program set to start in the fall and I'm looking at purchasing my first stethoscope. I've been looking at the Littmann Classic II and the MDF MD One at various online retailers. In your experience, what will be best for a newbie like me? And what has your experience been with like either of these products?

My current laptop is on the fritz so I am in the market to buy a new computer before fall classes start. In your experience what laptops/tablets/computers have been helpful and easy to navigate through nursing school. I've had both Mac and PC so I'm open to all suggestions.

I've been using my macbook pro for about 7 years now (knock on wood). No complaints here.

I'm in the same boat as you but I'm 25. Plenty of people in my classes are doing this as a career change, and already have kids and prior obligations. I still live with my parents because the housing market is complete crap. Don't feel embarrassed and see this as a fresh start.

Before I ever started going to school I volunteered in a low income women's health facility. I feel like there it is more shocking if you actually knew your anatomy.

Don't drop him like a hot potato. Potatoes are to be respected, and only dropped into a pot of boiling water when deemed delicious enough to be cooked. Drop him like the scum he is but don't devalue potatoes in the process.

About how long did it take you get get your results? Did you take the computer format or the pencil/paper format?
