  1. How is your studying coming along? Your best approach is to compile your preparation material all up-front, make a schedule and stick to it. This way, you won't deviate from the plans. Since your exam is around the corner, I would suggest tackling practice exams and questions specifically for the NCLEX every day. There are many resources mentioned on this site including UWorld, Kaplan, Saunders, NCLEXcracker.com Good luck and let me know if you have any questions, love to help now that I'm done with my NCLEX.
  2. I just took and passed my NCLEX exam and I prepared with NCLEXCracker.com , Uworld and Saunders. Good luck to those taking it in January 2017!
  3. My biggest advice is to take a diagnostic test and determine where your weaknesses are. Once you've identified them, zero in on them and see if you can make improvements in those departments. These are probably the areas that are dragging you down on the NCLEX and if you can expose yourself so you have more of a solid foundation in that particular subject, you'll be in a better position to do well on your NCLEX on your third time.
  4. I passed using both "NCLEX Cracker" and "UWorld"
  5. Seems like you passed! Congrats :) If you had to go through all 265 Questions then I would have been concerned but your test ended half way so that's a good indicator.
  6. Just found this site. Even though I just took my NCLEX, I'd love to chime in to help you out! As my test date approached, I took as many practice tests as I could. One resource I used was "NCLEX Cracker" which gave me access to five or six NCLEX Full Length exams. I was able to see improvement in my practice scores and learn from their rationales. I also became more assimilated and accustomed to taking the NCLEX Exam because their simulator mimics and mirrors the same testing platform. On test day, it felt like another practice exam. My advice is to spend more time on continually take more practice tests, learn from explanations, etc. as your test date approaches and I'm very fortunate that both Saunders and NCLEX Cracker helped me out tremendously in passing my exam!
