  1. Does anyone pass the HESI with only two weeks to study? I have to take my first attempt by the end of next month, and wondering if anyone else has limited time and passed.
  2. I'm not sure, but my dilemma is more of I'm not sure what to study and what's going to be covered on the test.
  3. I don't want to admit it but I am struggling tremendously with my CHM 1032 class. I've been told it's all about the professor and I tend to take that with a grain of salt, but in this case, I'm starting to believe that's the case. Although he is very smart- his teaching style and class has no structure. We are already behind on the syllabus and have been playing catch up. The study guides don't reflect the tests because of this and therefore we are being tested on things not previously taught. So, with that being said I'm at the point where I need to teach myself and get a tutor help. My question is has anyone else been in this situation? I am one semester away from applying and NEED to pass this class even with the odds against me. Any studying advice; note taking; websites, etc that are recommended is greatly appreciated.
  4. Thanks for your reply. So when you study in those two hours what's your study process? Memorizing? Practice tests? I'm having a problem figuring out my groove and why I think I'm procrastinating so much.
  5. Wondering what's the best way to study the subjects for the Hesi exam? What tactics are best to use and did anyone use a study schedule?
  6. Thank you! That's what I have- just feeling anxious about how to study it.
  7. So I've seen many encouraging posts here that give advice/strategies on how some have passed the TEAS but I'm yet to come across a studying schedule. other than just reading the material and taking practice tests, I'm wondering if some of you have used a study guide schedule that you planned in advance to keep you on track. Im feeling lost and don't know where to start or how.
  8. Oh yeah! New to the site and still learning to navigate. Thank you!!
  9. Hi- I'm about to start a Thursday, Friday, Saturday 7pm-7am ER shift and have never worked nights before. Although, I've always been more a night owl, I'm a curious how those you work these get your sleep in without falling asleep on the job. How long did it take your rhythms to adjust and what type of schedule did you follow to ease into it?
  10. May I ask where and what book you purchased?
  11. Thank you for your comments. I am trying to be realistic with my employer whilst still holding a job during school-But What I'm gathering is the closer you are to graduating the closer your shifts are to normal nurse hours. I for a hospital so I'm hoping I'll be able to find the balance.
  12. Hi- I am close to starting nursing school in the fall in Florida and was curious to know how everyone's rotations were scheduled. I'll be attending Keiser University but they tell me I won't know until I'm in he program. Some people tell me it's one full 12hour a week and others tell me that had 4 8 hr shifts. I'm trying to imagine what my schedule will be so I can begin working out a schedule with work and family. Many info is appreciated:)
