  1. Hi, I'm new to this thread and have also applied for the scholarship. Congrats to everyone! I understand that we will be able to use the scholarship towards previous classes (my first semester was May- Aug.), however, does anyone know if they will give us the stipend from those months as well? Or does the stipend not start until you've formally accepted the scholarship? Thank you! í ½í¸Š
  2. Hi I got an A and I did it in 6-7 weeks. I didn't find it to be difficult but you need to take notes on the lectures and labs. I 100% encourage you to take it. The professor responded right away whenever I had a question and I actually found the labs to be quite interesting. I love that you can go at your own pace, too. I truly don't think you'll regret it. I hope all goes well!
  3. I was accepted to Wall!! I'm literally shaking, lol!!! Congratulations to everyone!!!
  4. Hi, not my strongest subject either. I completely understand! Definitely email the Professor if anything in the modules is confusing. He's very helpful and will explain the algorithm.
  5. Hi, are you in the online program? How do you like it? Pros/cons?
  6. My professor was the same as "Junebugemma" from the earlier post. His name was Matt Dodd and he was very helpful and encouraging.
  7. Hi! It was a good experience. The professor was always available and would "break down' a problem if I needed help. That was really the only con- sometimes answers were shown but the steps weren't. Maybe if there was a video to go along with some of the modules, too. Perhaps they figured students knew certain types of math to achieve the answer. However, it's been awhile for me, so I needed to know how certain answers were arrived at and the professor was very helpful. It was a tough class, because I'm not a math person, so I studied/practiced a lot. Thankfully, I was able to get an "A"! I would definitely recommend them! Hope all goes well! :-)
  8. Hi lh193, if you don't mind sharing-what were your HESI A2 scores like, GPS, etc. that got you accepted? Also, mw1023, did you get a response regarding grade entry? I was told prerequisites only.
  9. So yes, you can submit the application prior to the test. It also says so on Nursing CAS.
  10. Hi, I was told you have up to the day the application is due to take the HESI bc it automatically gets sent to Nursing CAS. I believe you can also enter them manually.
  11. Hi, no problem! Yes, I was thinking of doing the same for the experience. I think we need transcripts from every college we've ever attended, however, we only need to list our prerequisites. I know I've seen it mentioned. I think it was on the bottom of the page on the grade entry tab. Any tips on what I should focus on for the A&P and Bio section of HESI?
  12. Hi, did you submit your application yet? Also, did you add any experiences?
  13. Hi, I know this is an old post, but what school did you go to- for CRNA?
  14. Does anyone know how long it takes to receive your HESI testing date? Thanks
  15. Hi, did the HESI website take awhile to get back to you regarding when you would take it? Thanks
  16. Did you have access to the material right away or did you have to wait for an instructor to contact you?
  17. Ok, that's about the time frame that I would need. Lastly, how long did it take for you to receive your grades on assignments, exams, etc. How long to receive your final grade? Thanks so much!
  18. Also, (last question, promise) did they give you any indication of what the hours might be? I called and was told to keep my schedule open. However, I have children and for scheduling purposes, need to at least have an idea of what to expect. Thanks again! :-)
  19. Hi, I hope so because two are online and one in class. Also, I have to take the HESI. A lot to cram in, but I don't want to wait until 2018. Are you going to work while you do it? Did they say anything regarding financial aid? Do you remember about how long the HESI was-and where did you take it? Sorry, for all of the questions, lol! Thanks for your help!
  20. How long did it take you? I know it differs for everyone depending on their schedule, but I was just curious. Thanks
  21. How did you wind up doing in the statistics class? Any tips? Thanks
  22. Hi, I am in a similar boat. I'm going to sign up for two online courses through Portage very soon. Have you take one with them? What was your experience? Thanks
  23. Hi, how was the micro for you? Were you able to complete it in 6 weeks? Thanks
  24. Hi Jchanis15, did you ever take the statistics course? If so, how was it? How long did it take? Thank you
  25. Thank you very much!
