    I love a good thoughtful thank you note or card from my supervisors. Heck I even like just an occasional email!
  2. I actually started the job I have been at for five years now as an LPN that worked as a CMA and then a CNA on the weekends. Never had any issues with the CNAs respecting me or anything like that after I became an RN and a charge nurse. even on the same shift I worked as a med aide and aide on.
  3. They do not teach nail care in our state's CNA class anymore, so the nurses either have to do it or an "older" CNA that has been taught properly. Also if the patient is on Coumadin or a diabetic, only a nurse is allowed to do it per company policy.
