  1. Response to JackDawson23: You're kidding...right?? If not, I pray to God that none of my loved ones ever has a nurse like you...I would be your worst nightmare if you told someone to essentially fake vs, falsify documents, and show a total lack of caring that human being that I love!!! You need to get out of nursing if you really believe that way...we don't need nurses like you!
  2. Wow!! I don't understand that kind of logic! I personally believe that we are obligated to report if someone has admitted to committing a crime. I couldn't live with myself if that person went out and did the same...or worse and I hadn't said something. To not report someone who I knew was wanted is criminal!
  3. Probably 30 years ago I worked on a surgical unit in a hospital that had a cat problem in the basement. Every now and then we had problems with fleas. One morning I was doing a pre-op prep for a back surgery, then was to give the pre-po IM injection. The gentleman was lying in the prone position, looking away from me, and just as I was getting ready to give the injection, a flea jumped right where I was aiming!! Not knowing how to deal with that (I was a fairly new nurse at the time), I reached over and pinched the flea between my thumb and finger. Unfortunately, the gentleman thought I was showing interest!! He turned his head and winked at me!! I was so embarrassed and my co-workers kept it going for months!
