  1. Yes, I got my acceptance letter to Palomar but I'm going to decline my spot. Grossmont is a better fit for my family and I.
  2. Check your emails :) I got in.. now to decide between Palomar or Grossmont í ¾í´·í ¼í¿½*♀️
  3. I had 86-88 points I believe
  4. I got accepted :) good luck ladies !
  5. I received two emails, one stating letters will be sent out soon then my acceptance letter soon after at 2:30 :). Good luck everyone !
  6. Me too ! It's getting close !
  7. I'm thinking first week of October will be the earliest.... Has Grossmont college sent any of you guys any type of email ?
  8. Nope, I'm pretty sure letters will be sent out in October. Grossmont website stated at least 2 months after application deadline (July 31).
  9. I was told 40 by current Grossmont nursing students
  10. They change the dates on application deadlines every cohort. I wouldn't expect a letter until beginning of October; two weeks into October the lastest....
  11. Yikes ... they only take 40 a cohort .... I turned mine in the last day and there was 6 people wit me turning in there applications ....
  12. Omg ! My nerve levels just went up 100000 percent !!!! Crossing my fingers for everyone !
  13. I have a couple of Facebook friends that are 2"17 fall cohorts at Grossmont and they assured me that they only accept 40 a semester. I was wondering myself... since I like the idea of a smaller classroom size :)
  14. Grossmont takes 40. I believe after the first year they split the classes into 2 (20/20)
  15. I double checked and they told me just my titer is sufficient. I'm also hoping it's truly fine ! I have 86 points If everything goes well.... so if a little miscommunication over vaccines prohibits me from getting in I'll be pissed !
  16. I got a 90. It's a point system so at the end of the day, the more points the better. Higher the teas, higher the points ....
  17. Bummer I tuned in my application today and she said the titer I turned it for hep B was fine. Should I try to convince my Dr. To give me the hep B booster vaccine ??? I'm so confused on what they exactly want. When I turned in my application she said everything was fine and she saw that I only have the titer for hep B not the 3 vaccines ....
  18. Hello, turned in my application today ! I should have around 86 points !! Crossing my fingers ! Good luck everyone !
  19. Hi! I'm applying as well! I'm turning in my application on Monday (cutting it close, I know 😬) I should have 85-88 points ... depends on whether they accept some of my life points etc. im worried about my TB test and Hep B however ... i have one skin test back in sept and I recently did blood TB test ... not sure if this is what they wanted. for the Hep B I am positive for immunity so my doctor refused to give me the vaccine. Her nurse filled out the paper stating I'm immuned however im also confused on what exactly are they wanting .... I have read different things saying what I am providing is sufficient and I have read other papers saying I need 2 skin test and the 3 step hep B vaccine ... did anyone else provide what I provided ? Do you think my application will be sufficient ? Thank you !!
