It is mandatory at the hospital where I work. I'm not sure what they do if someone refuses, I haven't known anyone that refused the vaccine.

My hospital rotates and has several baylor positions to reduce the amount of weekends worked by regular, full-time staff. The baylor nurses are paid for three shifts for working two shifts on Saturday and Sunday.

Work hard, make good choices, try your best, don't complain and you will find veteran nurses more than happy to help!

I heard Friday, late afternoon, that I was accepted. I got an email to log in to my application and the status had been updated. It said I had 2 weeks to pay the $750 fee to hold my spot.

Hi BamaNurse914, Did you apply to the DNP program to begin January 2017 at Samford? If so, I applied as well, it would be great to meet someone else in the program!
