  1. Was offered a critical care position a few weeks ago! Hope all went well for each of you!
  2. Had my phone interview but my in person interview isn't until next month. Anyone else?
  3. From what I've heard they like for their new nurses to have at least 10 months experience or either a graduate of the residency program. Preparing for my interviews now. Super nervous. I haven't heard anything else about their residency programs.
  4. The requirements on the website are a little confusing about the references. I emailed the recruiter and the residency manager. One said to have the references email it now and the other said after a phone interview HR would send a link for the references. What did you do about references? I want to make sure I have everything right so fingers cross I get an interview.
  5. I have applied to Richland's new nurse residency for; medsurg, critical care, and WNS. Has anyone had any experience with these residencies? Or know anything about them from people who went through it?
  6. Thank you! I emailed the recruiter Friday and haven't received a response, but I will email them again.
  7. Congratulations on landing a NICU position! I graduate in May 2017 and would love a NICU position but I know it is very competitive. The only experience I have is, I work as a nurse extern currently. Do you have any advice or tips on how to get a position in NICU?
  8. I graduate in May this year and would love to land a NICU position but I know how competitive it is. Do you have any tips about what could help get a NICU position right out of school? I currently work as a Nurse extern.
  9. I am in my last semester of nursing school graduation is May 5, 2017. I've been told the sooner you apply the better. I'm running into a problem though. When I go to apply for jobs there is a three questionnaire to fill out. First question, "Are you a licensed RN?" Second question, "Are you eligible for licensure in this state?" Of course my answers are no to those because I am not yet eligible for boards so of course I am not a RN so with my answer being no to those questions it will not let me apply for the job for not meeting the minimum requirements. So how do you apply for jobs without lying on that portion of the application?
  10. Thank you I have not been able to find that anywhere. And my instructor says she doesn't have the scores which is funny because she is the one who is over ati for our school.
  11. Yes thankfully they do provide us with the practice tests and I also do all the RN learning systems tests. I was just wondering what specific areas to really make sure I focus on (personality disorders, meds, cardio system, respiratory, etc).
  12. I took the 2013 OB this past summer and it was similar to the practice test but it also had some off the wall things I had never seen before. But I read the entire book and did every practice question in the book and on the site and made a level 3. I take mental health if a few weeks so I don't have any insight on that :)
  13. I have been trying to find any information I can on the 2016 med-surg but cannot seem to find anything about it anywhere. So I'm just making sure I know a lot about the main systems like cardio, respiratory, renal, etc. Its so frustrating that instructors and ATI themselves will not give you any information on how the levels are. Its not like we are asking for test answers.
  14. I'm studying for my proctored med-surg and mental health ati in a few weeks. Does anyone have any advice on what to specifically focus on for each? I'm reading my book and doing every practice test along with reading every rationale. Just looking for advice on big key points to focus on. My school has also switched over to the updated 2016 versions. Has anyone taken any proctored tests from the new version?
  15. Does anyone have any advice or tips for med surg or mental health?
