  4. For those who got accepted, Im putting together a FB Group. National University DNAP Class of 2025.
  5. I got offered during my interview as well, I guess I'll being seeing you guys in Fresno ?
  6. Nothing here, congrats to those who got an interview. Knock ‘em dead.
  7. Hello Everyone, I applied to for the 2023 cohort. Im hoping to hear back soon if I am going to get an interview. Anyone else applying for the 2023 cohort?
  8. I would tell you that obviously having a Medical Backround, high GPA, high HESI, and volunteer service are going to make you the strongest candidate. One of the greatest things about SMU is their ability to look a candiate as complete package, and not just your GPA or HESI score. If your a person coming into nursing from a second carrier and school is new again, they can understand that and see why you wouldn't have the highest grades for math and science because you haven't been in school for 20 years. I would also tell you that the time of year you apply will also dramatically change the volume of candiates your competing with, if you apply in spring you will be dealing with a smaller candidate pool vs fall when everyone applies. If you are worried about your application not looking strong enough, I would think about how you can make yourself look more "diverse" because that is the heart of what SMU loves to look for their canidates. I love my cohort, we have a mixed bag of people and personalities all from different back rounds, ages, and experiences, we are extremely diverse. Hope this helps, good luck getting in.
  9. For those of you that have classes remaining, don't forget about testing out of them through CLEP. That way you don't need to sit through an entire semester of class. SMU accepts them and I think you can CLEP up to 2 classes.
  10. Just Got mine as well! See you in class!
  11. Looks like the decisions have been postponed till nov 1st. so sad
  12. I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR SOMETHING! We are like a week or so out! Hang in there guys!
  13. Looks like there are 64 spots per semester, found that on their website.
  14. Looks like mid October we'll be finding out! Anyone else get that email?
  15. Well I hope that we get in! I have put a lot of eggs in this basket, but Im also planning on applying to all the other local programs in fall but I don't want to wait another year to start, plus the additional months of the other programs run. I'll be retaking the TEAS I know I can score a lot better then I did the first time. Ive never wanted to put on a pair of stupid white scrubs so bad lmao, fingers crossed we get in!
  16. I applied for Spring 2017 with the July 1st application dead line and then they extend the application date to august 1st because they didn't get enough applicants, Im really hoping I get in :) I have a 3.75 Science GPA (Missed my A in Chem by 1%) and 3.9 gpa overall. I didn't do so great on the TEAS 70 over all because I took it during finals and didn't study for it at all. So Im hoping my total GPA over shadows my stupid TEAS score. The wait is KILLING ME! I don't want to wait till November!
