  1. Hang in there. I know it's tough. And I was denied last semester so even if you dont get in this semester, there's always next. They like to give those who have applied more than once a better chance. But hang in there! I'm sending good vibes your way
  2. Hmmm I got the background one but not that.... I'll check again
  3. Hi Tiffani! Congratulations! Does anyone live near Walnut Creek or driving by it that perhaps may want to carpool and/or take the CPR class? I signed up in concord on December 8. Also, has anyone received any info on the drug testing such as where to go or paperwork??
  4. I don't use Facebook but I'm Erin and I can't wait to meet everyone! When do classes start?
  5. Yay that's so exciting!!
  6. I just got my acceptance letter!!! I'm so happy! Hopefully you guys do too!
  7. Eek im nervous! I will post as soon as I hear. Good luck!
  8. Did you guys receive a date we would hear?
  9. That's what was said to me too í ½í¸¬ Hopefully, :$3 means it
  10. I got it too!I don't know how many people but I have heard that there are a lot more seats available in the spring then in the fall, so that's a good sign. Did you talk to her about your application and why you were an accepted the last time?
  11. Oh I cried too. I went into a funk after. S.H at the school told me they do take that into consideration and they like to give more priority to people who have applied in the past... hopefully that helps :)
  12. I don't know anyone personally who has gotten accepted, but I've read a few of these past semester forums. My mother went there 30 years ago, and I went to an alumni brunch last month with her. I got to talk to some of the current students, which was cool. I'm excited! I just don't want another rejection letter í ½í¸©
  13. Oh I hope October! I was told November, but that was a while ago.. When were you told October?
  14. Yes but they will delete that name when they see it. She is the head of admissions... A very good one to speak with. It is a very competitive school, but what nursing school isn't? The good thing about this one, is it's very expensive, so it narrows down the amount of people in the pool. So while the odds are the same? The candidates are thousands less. If you don't get in, just keep applying. Luckily, there's 2 semesters you can start. Most peoole get in by their 3rd time applying. So hang in there. We got this!
  15. From what I've heard, they look at the reading and math portions of the teas, your letter of recommendation, and your essays the hardest. So don't stress about your gpa's. They aren't even bad, so ease up on yourselves spring is easier to get into from what I've been told. I turned my application in in June, because after talking to S.H. there, she told me thT my application was "late" by time nursingcas verified it all and sent it over, so they had already made their decisions. I was told I had a very good chance and to just be sure that it gets there on time. She also told me my teas were solid, and I only got a 73%, that my GPA was good, which was a 3.3 in regular classes and 3.8 in sciences. She said my application was strong; so relax everyone and take a deep breath. You guys have better stats than me! She also said that if you have applied before, they mark that because they like to give the opportunity to people who have applied more than once. I have good feelings about it, but I'm still SO nervous. i just sound confident to help all you haha 😜 I hope we all get in! I graduated from DVC community college last December, and finished up the world history prerequisite at Grossmont College online in San Diego, since it wasn't offered here anywhere I could find. So now, I'm just waiting. It's the only place i plan on applying and I will eventually get in. It's been my dream since I was a little girl, since my mother graduated from there and was a labor and delivery nurse. Is it November yet? 😩 **Sorry for the repeat of info. I didn't remember what I said already until after posting and re-reading
