  1. i see, besides that i have no other advice. Good luck on your journey!
  2. good luck, i hope you did well!
  3. passed my nclex on the 9th of July @75 questions and good PVT worked for me. Input all correct info for cc. Overall: 61.6 percent assessment 1: 73% @ 94th percentile assessment 2: 70% @91st percentile
  4. We applied early for our program to meet the deadline of price increase. Either way, i think it would be the same wait. Try talking to your nursing school secretary or the DON. There were certain steps we had to take so please ask for help in case you need clarification.
  5. good news everyone! i passed!
  6. No, you can pass or still fail at any given number above minimum.
  7. thanks man! much appreciated, i was freaking out when i saw this same stuff!
  8. exactly how i felt, i used uworld. while uworld did help me with content, i felt the way the questions were worded differently which made it seem that much more difficult. good luck to you! i also got the good pop up after receiving my email. Everyone whom passed and did the PVT said i passed, but we will find out. Here in california it can take weeks to get my results. did PVT post 24 h and still got good popup so i hope i passed.
  9. hey, did you do the pvt for your third try, i am waiting for my results. got the good pop up. Unfortunatly we dont have quick results here so i figured i use the PVT. So far it has been accurate for all 7 of my classmates.
  10. good call, i wished i used it during nursing school, it really helps. I got it during my last semester and used the psych portion. It helped me pass the class. Good luck
  11. Did you get the good pop up? im still waiting on my results and am really nervous. I took mine yesterday. So far it has been accurate for my classmates 7 good pop ups and 1 bad and person failed unfortunately.
  12. hello, did you do the PVT? i took mine on the 9th and got the good pop up, still waiting on my results. Im constantly checking my Breeze account.
  13. Good luck, so my school has a pass rate of 80 percent for first time nclex takers. I know of 7 whom passed so far. One failed. Also the passing rate is really high for 1st time nclex takers according to ncsbn website. Keep us updated
  14. uworld, lacharity. Good luck!
  15. Nclex is our last hurdle to become Rn, good luck!
  16. did you pass? did you get the good PVT?
  17. hey shoot im drinking right now to calm my nerves. Listen, i did all the questions on uworld and i felt like it prepared me. Some of my classmates who did not completed the question bank took it and passed. They even had a lower score than i did on the self assessment. Just believe in yourself, take as soon as you complete your studying program before you forget the material. That was the reason why i moved my testing date up, because of that reason. Good luck!
  18. hey blinkie2003, i know its easier said than done but be confident with your answers, i felt like i answered at least 2/3 of the exam blind. Select the best answer, eliminate the ones that has absolute and you know is wrong and you will be fine. As for the SATA, i will not sugar coat it, if you dont know the subject it will be a guessing game. Good luck to you my fellow future nurse!
  19. hey good luck, i wish you the best, sending good vibes.
  20. hey allnurses, i just took the nclex. It shut me off at 75 question! Damn was it confusing, so it was vague, questions were definitly really short not like uworld. Seemed like it went straight to the point. I did the "PVT" and used my real cc information. Got the good pop up, and still in disbelief. Now, i don't wanna go too much in detail but man, i felt like it was hard and easy at the same time. Here are my scores, during nursing school, we did hesi, got 80% conversion score During uworld, got 61.6% overall 1 assessment got 73% at 94th percentile 2nd assessment got 70% and 91st percentile overall. I also used lacharity, did up to 19 chapters with and overall of 60 percent (im guessing) guys the nclex was alot different from these resources. It was hard to me because it was vague. I hope i had passed because all of my classmates who had passed, did the pvt and it was accurate for them. Stay strong ya'll it was a hard test but easy at the same time. in the end, i came out feeling defeated like most nclex takers. I still feel like i failed so i am assuming that i failed until i see my results. Should i celebrate now? Or wait till i know i passed?
  21. thank you for your input anneaw.
  22. So i scored 70 percent on second assessment puts me at 91st percentile with "very high chance of passing" after completing the whole q bank. On the first one i got 73 percent at 94th percentile and also "very high chance of passing after doing about 1000 questions. Any one knows if these self assessments are a reliable predictor? Thanks in advance also i finished the whole q bank with 61 percent. Im so nervous, nclex is within a week. Any advice/input is appreciated.
  23. Sucks for your friend, you think she probably did it wrong? what did you use to study btw? Also keep us posted on your results, the PVT is fairly reliable.
