I was in the ER so the openings were alll the time since they have so many shifts. New grad openings were only a few times a year. I would ask you SRN to help you out. I'm sure they know someone who knows

I used to work there as an HCP. My managers always made announcements during huddles about new grad programs and job openings before they went to the public. If you like the current unit you are ok you should ask the hiring managers!

I haven't gotten anything yet either. However I start in March so they are probably going thru the January cohort first? I try to call that number and never get thru. Anyone else have the same problem?

Yes, tomorrow 11/20 was the deadline. Did you get hired? I'm sure yours is coming soon.

Scripps mercy, surgical unit

Yes I recieved my offer letter last Thursday. It didn't say when I'll be contact next for on boarding. I start in March so I'm sure it won't be until later.

It didn't say @nursing_excellence. All it said on the email was "surgical unit" at Scripps mercy... so the hospital in Hillcrest. Didn't tell me a floor number. Hoping the recruiter tells me more info

Anyone know anything about the surgical unit at mercy? None of my panel members were from that unit I don't think.

Yeah that's why I'm confused too. I'm hoping she meant 25 for EACH Jan and March. She didn't specify. But the lady you check in with said only 25... and that wasn't per hospital... it was total

I interviewed with the Scripps mercy sd panel! There was 5 of them! Those rapid fire questions were intense. I was stumped on one of the questions. They also asked my my preference for unit. I was honest with them.. so hopefully that won't affevt my chances. They are interviewing 125 people Monday and 125 on Tuesday... on 25 get spots
