  1. We do not have a health department in our county. I’m in a high school with 2600 kids and 200 staff members. I am *this close* to not doing anymore contact tracing. I don’t have time for any of my other job duties. Athletics doesn’t let me quarantine those that need to quarantine, and I’ve seen time and time again kids that are supposed to be quarantining are out with their friends off campus and end up getting it and spreading it around. If something doesn’t give, I don’t know if I can come back in the fall.
  2. Congratulations! I am leaving my job (well----staying PRN) from a large teaching hospital in a big city to be school nurse in same district my kids attend. I am both excited and nervous! Not sure what to expect. From what I gathered in interview with the principal, there aren't any kids currently with high needs. I have orientation in a few weeks. New employee orientation, then two days of nurse-y stuff. Then a week of back to school before the students start. Not sure what that will consist of.... Any ideas?
