  1. I was REALLY overthinking this prompt as well. Thank you for laying it out this way. It helped me get my feet on the ground again and took the pressure off!
  2. Hey! I actually haven’t followed through with it yet. If I did I would also return to main US eventually. I was looking at U of PR and Interamerican.
  3. Hi Kcordova! I can't send messages directly to you but I'd like to ask you some questions about your SRNA experience. I've had CRNA school in PR on my mind for 2 years and haven't taken the leap. Maybe you have the message ability to send me one or email [email protected]
  4. Thanks for the inspiration! I first thought about blogging years ago during college. I only got as far as setting up the platform but I didn't know which direction to go in and felt discouraged. I became a travel nurse and felt re-inspired (in many aspects of life). After reading an awesome blog about RV'ing and finally joining allnurses after years of reading the posts I thought..."Hey! I actually do enjoy writing!" I'm working on outlining my ideas and I'm pushing myself to just do it! I find myself worrying about whether something is a good topic, how will my site look, and will anyone care or find it interesting?!
  5. Sorry this happened to you! Before becoming a traveler I heard about that "traveler can't stay in one place" idea once in nursing school. After getting some experience and deciding to travel I wrote it off as being an old myth that no one really believed. I figure if your career is to travel....why should you be expected to stay in one place? And if you are deciding to commit to a staff position or apply to a program, why would you then be a flake and leave a program you're making efforts to get into?! The implication that they want you to stay post graduation makes sense and is totally unfair!! Glad it all worked out! I'm doing research myself for all the avenues, pros/cons etc of CRNA school. All this feedback has been helpful for me too, thanks OP. :)
