  1. I'm a NYS correctional officer with 24 years in. Due to retire next spring. Pre-reqs out of the way and accepted LPN this fall. 4.0 gpa this semester.Want to interact with people in a different way than I have for the last 23. Draw blood means hit somebody with a baton.haha. just kidding of course.
  2. I've been plugging away at pre-reqs and core corriculum since Fall 2005. I'm 43 now and have worked 24 years as a NYS Correctional Officer. Father of three. Been accepted for Fall 2007 LPN. 4.0 GPA. Going back to school reinforced the importance of education to my children. We often do homework together. She is my hero and I can wait to be an RN with her. It only gets better with age.
  3. I'm a 43 year old NYS Correction Officer, about to retire from state service spring of 08. Have all my pre-reqs done for RN except AP 1 @ 2. I chose nursing as a new carreer for several reasons. My wife of 20 years is an RN and has been for 23 years and is MY HEROE. can't wait to be a colleague of hers.Having the time of my life...
