License Validation from Oman
Hi Damsychick, I just wanna ask in which state did you apply? Im a nurse too and worked under MOH in Oman for almost 4 years and I recently relocated here in California. I am planning to start my application for CGFNS either in Minnesota or Colorado state. I am just wondering about license validitation from Oman as far as i know once we resigned our license in Oman is no longer valid and i am not sure if CGFNS will accept it.

Thank you for your information. It is very helpful. One more question, please. Did you submit your work experience when you applied? I have worked in the Philippines for 3 years and in middle east for 3 1/2 years but contacting my old supervisors and getting them to write detailed reports on my work seems to be a huge task and would rather not do it if it's not needed. Oh, by the way I graduated from Univ. of Perpetual Help DALTA 2010.

Congratulations on your success Osis! Can i ask you some question? 1. Did you have any concurrency issue on applying to be an LVN? 2. What year did you graduate? and from what school? 3. Were you required to take IELTS or TOEFL when you applied for CGFNS NLCEX LVN? thanks.

Hello everyone, I would like to ask someone's advise, any suggestions and additional information about the application for the NCLEX RN exam in California. I' am a registered nurse in the Philippines. I graduated in 2010 of April and I took my Local Board exam in July 2010 and passed it. I got my License in September 2010 and began working as a Staff Nurse and in the year 2013 i got a job offer abroad (middle east) and I worked as Staff Nurse too. I moved here in California in May 2017 since i got married to American citizen. Now, I really wanted to pursue my career working in a hospital setting. I tried to work as a caregiver but I realized that this kind of job is not my passion. I already submitted an online application thru Breeze ca. com. I attached all the Documents needed like (PRC License, Nurse Certification, Diploma,Online Application form-RN and Copy of my Finger printing with receipt and I paid 150 USD to BON site). I requested from my University to provide me all the Documents like ( Minor and Major cases, Academic calendar, RLE, TOR, Diploma, and Forms from BON site) and my school sent it already to Sacramento BON office. I'm checking my Breeze account everyday and my status always showing pending and every time I click Detail button it shows status Open. They gave me a RN file number and i dont have any idea at all what does it mean? I know that it would be really hard to be approved by Ca BON to get an ATT due concurrency issue. If im gonna opt for LVN route are there any possibilities to be approved by BVNT and get my ATT or Do i need to study also? Please help me. Im open, any suggestions, comments and additional information?. Thank you and Godbless!!

filipino nurse from Middle east moving to california
Hi to all, I am registered nurse in the philippines since 2010 and currently working as a nurse under ministry of health. i married an american and now have my greencard. i will be going to the US, specifically in Ca but it seem almost impossible to pass all the requirements for the NCLEX. i have worked 3 years in the pihlippines and 3 years in Oman. I have most of my papers but do not have my clinical cases copy from my school. it is not realistic to move from california because of my husbands work. I am wondering several things. Is it possible to go back to the philippines and fullfill the required missing requirements? What are nurses doing for work if they can not get certified?
