I am now in WA (Arlington) and have been applying everywhere. I've applied to providence residency already but the ad showed nothing about a start date or shifts etc. very vague if you ask me but beggars can't be choosers. Anyone know what month the residency usually begins? I passed my boards already :).

Thank you so much. So just to clarify, is it 8 hour classes then 12 hour shifts simultaneously on days off? or after you complete the residency program?

Hello everyone, so I need your help and advice. My husband is active duty and we are moving to Everett, WA from TX in Dec. I graduate the 21st Dec and will take NCLEX in Jan if the BON is done with the processing (don't know how long it takes). I've seen the posts on here about how hard it is for new grads to get jobs. My question is this: if I do a new grad residency program, will the hours be like regular shifts? 12 hours? or 8 hours? I ask because I will have a 5 year kindergarten kid and an infant with a deployed spouse so, with no 13 hour daycare or family support here, I need to have a plan. Please help. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

i got a letter on friday but i was out of town. i got home to find the huge envelope waiting for me.

thank you guys so much for your encouragement and support but i am scared to hope. Why would they send out the mail and not update the website/ it doesn't make sense. Anyway, i will let you know how it goes.

So i just called the CA BON and they said they just mailed my results 2 days ago. that means i failed bcos my name is still not on the website. OMG!!!! This is just too much for me now....i give up.

so it's been almost 2 weeks and no mail or name on the BON website. I took the nclex rn Oct 16th and i was so sure i passed this time but now i think i failed again. This is my 4th time!!!! when am i going to pass this test? i never failed before in my life and now....everyone keeps asking "how did u do this time?" Sometimes i think they are mocking me bcos i havent passed yet. Should i start thinking about a different career? i am so tired of this endless cycle. i got 75Q with endless prioritization, meds and infection control. where do i go from here?

heard anything yet? I am still waiting too. I check everyday and today is exactly a week i took the test. What is going on?

Congrats to Ticha:yeah:I took mine on Thurs too in CA and my name hasn't shown up even though it was last updated the 19th. I got a LOT of priority Q's, health education, Meds from outer space (lol) and 1 SATA. Computer stopped at 75. I know i got my last question right but i hear that doesn't mean a thing. Should i be scared now?

I actually tested on Thursday the 16th. I just checked and my name still isn't up there. It shows the website was updated the 19th Oct. I am seriously freaking out now. Where is my name?

Wow congrats!!! i am waiting on my results too. I took mine the 16th Oct and BON hasn't updated their website since then. I had 75 Q's with a LOT of prioritization, Meds and 1 SATA. Please send some good vibes my way:wink2: Does BON update on the weekend?

I am sorry it came out that way. I am not upset... i was just a nervous wreck yesterday (still am) but a little better today. My hat off to you for passing this crazy Nclex. I hope i end up happy cos the 3rd time is supposed to be a charm. thanks for all ur encouragement. I appreciate it

Thanks a lot for your encouragement. I had a LOT of prioritization, infection control, and one select all that apply. This is not my first time taking it so i doubt myself no matter what.

i just got done with my NCLEX RN exam and i got 75 questions. My last question was ABG's and i know for a fact i got it right. Is it true if your last answer is right, you passed? Does anyone know? Please i am freaking out.....

hey, i too am a foreign nurse and i am taking the test tomorrow. i am so scared cos i have taken it before and didnt pass. i took a review class this time and i feel a lot more confident but still scared. wish me luck

Yes i used the plan like a bible and i was scoring aabove 75% too so i dont get it
