For those that interviewed for NICU/perinatal program can you tell me if the questions were NICU specific? or what kind of questions were there? Also, did you do preceptorship/internship in the NICU? Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone, I am working on a project for my BSN and need to conduct a survey. Please answer the following questions if you want to help. Thank you so much in advance! How long have you been a nurse? Are you working as an RN? How long did it take you to get your first RN job? If you are not working, how long has it been since you graduated and earned your RN license? ADN or BSN? I appreciate the help!

I didn't get a call. But I did get an email this morning letting me know that I have new tasks to complete. When I signed on, one said, "Now that your background check has cleared you must make your new hire appt....." There's that and a few other tasks to complete.

Finally!!! Now I'll be waiting for a call.

Yes I got that early this morning as well. Makes me feel better knowing no one else has heard anything about the background checks. Please let the rest of us know when you do. SHARS where are you?? We're gonna be working together! I cant wait to meet you! =)

Also, I have an ADN but currently in a BSN program.

Graduated Sept. 2012, licensed in Oct., 5 years of LVN experience, 3.71 GPA and yes CA resident.

Has anyones background check clear yet? I haven't heard anything, thought it took 2-3 days.

Oh, Ok. I'm sorry you didn't hear back from them. Keep your head up, Don't give up! You were 1 of 7 to get an interview out of hundreds of applicants. I wish you look in your search.

Thank you Kaa-1! Did they tell you they would contact you either way? Did you know they were gonna do second interviews? What info did they give you on the program? They told me it would start the 3rd week of January but they didn't give me an exact date. I interviewed on Monday with a panel of 5.
