Yale GEPN 2019
I interviewed for Pediatric specialty track and felt like my interview went surprisingly well. It was more like a conversation and mine lasted around 21 minutes :)

Anyone have any idea how long after the interview we have to wait for final decisions?

I got accepted to the DNP-FNP track with a 3.5 undergrad GPA and a 4.0 graduate GPA. I think I remember from information sessions that they focus more on undergrad GPA though. I do have 7 years of healthcare experience in the Navy as well so maybe that is what they looked mostly at. Hope this helps.

Thank you so much for laying out your schedule for me. My family is extremely supportive so they would do great with any schedule that is similar to yours. Also for everyone who applied, I called admissions on Friday and they said interview decisions will be sent out this coming week.

Hello everyone! I applied to the PNP track and I'm hoping to hear some good news next month. Best of luck to everyone. For any current GEPN students did you find the program difficult for students with families? What are your typical hours? Thanks!

Aloha! The application cycle opened a few days ago and was wondering if anyone else is applying to the University of Hawaii's Graduate Entry Program in Nursing (GEPN) for fall 2019? For any current students in the program, how is the first year of the program? Do you find it difficult to maintain a work/life balance? I'm excited to finally be applying for the DNP-FNP program! Good luck everyone!

RN salary expectations
Hmm my mom works in Atlanta as an RN and makes a $36 an hour. I'm currently working as a Respiratory Therapist and I started at $31 an hour in Washington state. $22 is way too low for a registered nurse.
