hi everyone! I'm a foreign nurse also. I came here last year as an immigrant. I graduated many years ago and don't have an experience back home. I recently passed my NCLEX-RN(New York)..I'm struggling also to get a job here as a RN because of the gap years and don't have an experience in the hospital..Guys, Is it possible to apply as a Nursing assistant in the hospital just to get my foot in the door??? Is it a good idea? any advice...Thanks!

Hi everyone! I just want to ask if im still qualify to apply for residency program . I'm a foreign graduate. I graduated 2006 and I only have 1 year in the hospital back home..I came here in US last year and recently passed my NCLEX(New york)..Now, am struggling applying because of the gap years I didn't practice my profession.. I need you inputs! Thanks..GOD Bless us.
