  1. Thank you for the clarification, SRI1. Do you happen to know that if I was sent a private message before I had 15 quality post, would I be able to see it after?
  2. Idk I was wondering the same thing. I know you have to comment on 15 post before you get a private message. But that's all I know
  3. I didn't get the private message, is it possible you resend?
  4. I knew someone that didn't pass NCLEX for the same reason but after taking Kaplan she passed. Just a suggestion
  5. Another thing I would like to point out, is that they maybe hiring new grads, the fact that they aren't giving you more hours to a seasoned and experience nurse on that unit is confusing to me. Any department much rather hire a trained nurse from there unit than a new grad. There may be some job performance issues, I would talk to your manager to get some feedback.
  6. Agree follow the policy!!
  7. I agree, I personally wouldn't. I actually did something similar and got the md order and it was ok. But for your peace of mind do what you think will make you feel at ease.
  8. Exactly what I was thinking
  9. Which hospital is this?
  10. The best thing I learned from my first semester instructor was "don't be afraid of not knowing everything, getting your RN license gives you the license to start applying what you learned and learn a whole lot more"
  11. That pay is great as a new Grad, I live in California, but California pays a little more for nurses. But my friend started as a new grad in Texas at 25/hr.
  12. The doctor is capable of handling the patient, in an out patient setting is different. We as nurses feel our job isn't done until the patient goes home. But in reality the job is done once they see the md. I would go home.
