  1. Oh man I’m sorry... I know you worked hard to get this far. But don’t give up, keep trying. And who knows maybe a couple of people will not accept the offer and you can get in.
  2. Just created it as smu CRNA 2023. Go ahead and look for it and I will add you all to it
  3. Yes!! Let’s start a facebook group.
  4. I’m currently in Seattle! It will be nice to meet you guys soon. Hold out hope for those that haven’t heard back yet, you still have tomorrow.
  5. ??‍♀️ I live in the west coast
  6. Good luck to the rest of you!! ?
  7. I have been having anxiety all day. I work tonight and I’m getting no sleep. It’s killing me!
  8. I attended a webinar and the director stated the waitlist was 15 people.
  9. I also had my interview yesterday! It was the most nervous I have felt in a long time! I'm glad that it is done and over with. My interview was also only personality based I had no clinical questions. Good luck to all of you who are left to interview ?
  10. Hey all! By now you guys should be close to becoming CRNA's! Congrats on that! For those that interviewed, what specific questions did they ask, how should I prep for it. What do you mean by a personality interview?
  11. hey guys! late to this thread but I also got an email today!
  12. I recently graduated from a BSN program in California. And we were taught how to do every skill during our assessment/skills course. We practiced giving injections and IVs to each other, and practiced a foley catheter on a male and female dummy. It is my understanding that some states do not allow students to practice IVs on each other. So maybe you are part of a state where it is against the law to do so.
  13. I am in the same boat as you. I initially applied to California back in March, because I had no interview in Washington just yet. In may I got interviewed and I got the job up in Seattle. California has taken forever to send the ATT, so I decided to send an application to test in WA last week. Early this week I received my ATT for California, but I do not want to take it here because I will not have my WA license in time.
  14. MSWs along with MFTs need an internship in order to graduate with their masters degree. Those students have no other choice but to work for free. One way to equalize an internship in nursing that is on the same level as MSWs is clinical in the hospital. Here students gain the experience needed, and it is experience needed to graduate. The internship being offered here of teaching, is just something to put on a resume. It is an option, and not a requirement for degree completion.
  15. 1) License by exam 2) Date application was filed? March 30 3) Number of weeks since you applied? 18 weeks 4) Electronic/paper? Electronic 5) For those who are applying for license-by-exam: Loma Linda University 6) Your home state of residency: California 7) Hiccups with the BRN you've experienced? Rude, are not concerned, no sense of urgency, slow 8) Remedies you've tried to get your application processed. Call, complain, and call and call and call 9) Do you have a job/contract with a deadline that you need this license for? yes
  16. I sent in my application March 30th. I graduated June 12, and I still do not have an ATT. I fear for losing a job opportunity in an ICU residency because of this. I have complained and I never received an email or anything. The last time I called the BRN, a lady hung up on me. The reason they take so long, so I've heard, is because they only have 4-6 people processing all applications, transcripts, and answering phone calls for the whole state of California. This is ridiculous, and I want my voice heard on this! I'm thinking of just taking the test out of state.
  17. I have been looking into the ICU RN residency at UW medicine. Does any one have any reviews, thoughts, comments, on what it is like? I am from out of state and I am interested as to how well they prepare their new grads, specifically into the CT ICU
