I have above average grades, almost 8 years hospital experience and got selected as an alternate.. not sure what they were looking for.

I’m not sure their style other than they take experience into consideration and not just grades. I’m not sure that the BSN application requires an interview if you get selected to move forward with the application, but the HESI is. Good luck!

I think Grossmonts first round had to respond by the 10th. And I also heard that everyone who got into Grossmont has already been notified. But who knows! Things always change!

I got into city so I'm totally happy with that! I will be starting in August! I think we are all wondering what's happening with Grossmont since it doesn't seem like anyone as heard anything since the initial invitations were sent out. So maybe they all accepted? I do know that city and sec only have one application period a year so start looking into when that is. :)

I like you're style city has a good program as well. I haven't heard anything from Grossmont either but It's all good! It will all work out!

We will hear something regardless so best to stay positive until we do!

I've applied twice, once for the previous cohort and once for this cohort. I got in to San Diego City ADN program so I'll start there this fall if I don't get into Grossmont. But don't worry, you'll get in!
