MiraCosta vs. Palomar Nursing Program
Hi! I believe my cohort had points in the high 80’s to 90s. MCC is a great program - very challenging, but overall I’d say given the pandemic I had a good experience. I loved the small cohort size and for the most part we had awesome professors. My cohort is currently taking the NCLEX and we’re all passing no problem - MCC did an excellent job preparing us. Good luck! Let me know if you have any other questions!

Grading Changed to Pass/Fail?
Hi! I'm wondering if any of the BSN or ADN programs in CA have gone to Pass/Fail grading for the remainder of the semester? Several medical schools and law schools have changed their grading systems to pass/fail for the remainder of the semester to help students out that are juggling more than ever before. Curious if any nursing schools have done the same. Thanks! Vanessa

Dual (Concurrent) Enrollment for ADN Students
Hi! Wondering what Dual (Concurrent) programs current ADN Students are considering or are currently in? I was looking at GCU, but have seen a lot of mixed reviews and some not so great press. Would love recommendations! Thank you!

MiraCosta vs. Palomar Nursing Program
Hi! I was just accepted into MiraCosta's nursing program (waiting to hear back from Palomar still) and I'm looking for feedback from current/past students who either went to MCC or Palomar and what they thought of their nursing school experience at each school. I'm not sure what the pros and cons are of either program and would love to hear from others to help me figure out which school would be better suited for me! Thanks so much!

MiraCosta, Palomar, Grossmont Fall 2019 Applicants
Hi! When I dropped off my application at MiraCosta the lady assisting me estimated that applicants would need a minimum of 93 points to be accepted into the Fall 2019 cohort (Spring 2019 was 92 points and she said each semester it usually goes up). Palomar and Grossmont didn't share any information with me when I dropped off my application. Fingers crossed for all of us!!
