  1. Not classes you don't need necessarily. At my college, the RN program counted certain classes as extra bonus points for admission such as med term, pharm, pathophysiology, etc. On top of the extra points if you do well in them it also helps your GPA. Even if you don't get bonus points for those classes where you're going, and if they even offer those classes, it would still help your GPA regardless on top of being relevant to the program.
  2. Everything that was said above or... You could retake some of your pre reqs to try and up your GPA or take some additional classes in college to help up your GPA. Good luck!
  3. Thank you for your comment. In oklahoma the application to the board of nursing is online and we the students have to do it ourselves and I don't know if the board puts our application on hold until they receive our transcripts after we graduate or what but I think I'll go ahead and submit my application now and than my fingerprints will be done on June 6th and sent to the board and than I'll register with Pearson Vue closer to graduation. I wouldn't be worried about it if I had the money all at once but I won't and so that's why I'm trying to see if it's okay to space the application, fingerprints, and registration with Pearson Vue all out. Thank you again for your comment.
  4. Hey yawl, I'm an LPN student in Oklahoma and my class graduates June 16, 2016. I've been stressing out about getting the NCLEX-PN process done and I have a few questions. As yawl know the nclex exam is kind of expensive so I was wondering if it mattered what order I submit everything required such as my fingerprints, the application to the board, and registering with Pearson Vue for the exam? And also could I submit my application to the board now and than register with Pearson Vue closer to when I graduate so I don't have to come up with the money all at once? I'm scheduled for fingerprints on June 6 and I know that the board won't receive my transcript until after I graduate but like I said I'm wondering if it matters what order everything gets submitted and for how long inbetween? Please and thank yawl.
