  1. I was a nurse extern at the hospital where I worked as PCT-T! I TOO didn't care too much for it! I regretted it coz it took a WHOLE summer away from my kids! I too was promised all this "exposure".... All the exposure I got was how all the nurses EAT all the time and "talk" A LOT about everyone and everything!!! I was not allowed to give meds. I was practically 2 steps behind my preceptor the entire time! It DID however let me see how a nurse's day is spent...
  2. I graduated from that school. YES, there were some issues, from the staff to the instructors, to the hosp where we did our clinicals to graduation day! What kind of problems did you face? Miscommunictaion? The people? Overall, I would tell others who want to go into nursing about MRMC!
  3. I have two ear piercings and a naval ring. I also have a tattoo on the back of my neck and another one on my lower back. My classmates and I say we're gonna get another one when we're DONE with school which will be in December!(our graduation present!:biggringi ) I DO get patients that ask me, "OOH! Did that tattoo on your neck hurt?!?" And I tell them, well not as much as the one on my lower back!!! And jaws drop! But it's OK.. no biggie!
