  1. Chamberlain college of nursing formerly Deaconess college of nursing out of St. Louis Mo
  2. Associate program is the same amount of writing as class or online. Some colleges require fluff classes while most of the on-line do not. They get to the point. You still do clinical at a hospital, plus a 3 clinicals at the on-line college hospital site. I traveled to St. Louis 3 times for their program plus my regular clinicals in Georgia. Check out many different programs before deciding....you might save some time and classes. Good luck whatever you decide!
  3. On-line school makes it possible to work and go to school without taking anymore time away from your family. I had been a LPN for over 2o+ years when I decided I had had enough! I researched for on-line schools that would allow me to obtain my RN. I found it thru Chamberlain College of Nursing( there are many to chose from). They understood my goals and needs. I was able to work fulltime nights and obtain my RN degree, while raising a small child too. Go for it!!!!!! What will you be doing this time next year if you don't?? I will not say it is easy, but after you figure out the system, you will excel if this is what you truly want!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will be glad to talk with anyone about on line classes, just e-mail at: [email protected] and I will e-mail back or give you my telephone to talk with you. Whatever way you decide to obtain you dreams.......just do it!!!
  4. Thanks!!!!! LPN's have a wealth of knowledge to share. This new grad needs to regroup and start over.
  5. all of the nursing programs with Chamberlain are accredited! Check with the board of nursing in your state. Good luck in continuing your education!!!
  6. If I can help in any way, please e=mail at [email protected] . In the subject line put Chamberlain so I will respond immediately. Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. I can not say enough about Chamberlain formerly Deaconess College of Nursing. They work with you and the instructors are all good. They care that you are a working adult and trying to better yourself. Please look at them and talk to them...you might be surprise:)
  8. Most hospitals will work with you after they read the contracts. It is is their interest to help you get your RN!!!
  9. I graduated from the online program 12/06....ceremony was 4/07. This program has been worth every penny it cost me. The only thing I know about the pass rate was that all but one 1 passed the program and NCLEX that term. I will be glad to talk with anyone about the program :)
